Constance Bay Public LibrarY Art Walls
CALL TO ARTISTS You are invited to show your artwork at the Constance Bay Library. Drop Off is - May 16, 2024, at 3:00 pm The show runs from - May 16th, 2024, to mid-September, 2024. (Exact Date TBD) Pickup of current artwork is - May 16, 2024, at 3:00 pm The Deadline to apply is - May 7th, 2024. There is space for 6 to 8 works no longer (deeper) than 20 inches and no shorter than 10 inches, plus one larger work that will hang behind the Librarian's desk. Submitted artwork must look professional and be exhibit-ready. WCAS Exhibits regularly at Ottawa Public Libraries
Throughout the year, WCAS exhibits the artwork of our members at the Carp & Constance Bay libraries.
Constance Bay Public Library Art Walls
The Constance Bay Library and the West Carleton Arts Society have partnered to hang original artwork throughout the library in Constance Bay. Works of art are hung in the public areas. Every few months a different set of work is displayed. All labeled artwork is for sale.
Artist labels are available here
If someone is interested in the artwork, the buyer will contact the WCAS volunteer. The artist is responsible for delivery or pick up and arranging payment. Payment can be made by Cheque made out to the West Carleton Arts Society, Paypal to treasurer@westcarletonartssociety.ca or via Electronic Funds Transfer to West Carleton Arts Society. A 15% commission is payable to West Carleton Arts Society on sales. WCAS will deduct 15% Commission and pay the Artist the remainder of the sale price.

There is space for 1 large painting and 8 smaller works that are 20" deep.
Volunteers to help with selecting and hanging the artwork are always appreciated. If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity please contact Janice Johnston and offer to help.
